DIRECT VIEW LIGHTING
Rather than illuminating spaces, direct-view fixtures display full-color complex, dynamic images and large-scale video with color-changing effects. Linear and pixel node fixtures can create two- and three-dimensional displays on any scale and structure for stunning exterior video displays on buildings visible for miles.
Because direct-view LED fixtures are used for different purposes than other LED fixtures, their light output is measured in candela per square meter or nits. Controllers specifically designed for direct-view installations can sample and stream video to fixtures via an Internet connection. StrongLED’s RTP 9800 series can control up to 300 million pixels.
